Li'l Tune Stuck In My Head

I am listening to an amazing song right now and just thought I'd write a li'l tidbit on music in general. Listening to some of my favorite artists today allowed me to see just how much one song, one beat, one note....can change my whole mood, even my whole outlook on a situation. It's remarkable. The arts are such powerful outlets...each giving breath and depth to the other. I know that if it weren't for music, most of my art pieces wouldn't exsist. There is such inspiration in one lyric. MUSIC IS SO VITAL to life as we know it. It carries the day along. I know that I wish I had the score of a movie consistently playing throughout my daily life-it would be brilliant. So, to end this little rant, I have come to the conclusion that music is a visual art-it brings movement, and texture, and color to everything-and I love it.

Just Some Thoughts

Ya ever wondered exactly why friendships-or should I just say relationships in general-fade away? I do. I have been pondering upon that notion quite frequently in the past few days. It's not that you had a huge fight with that person, or you're trying to avoid him or her, you just so happen to stop speaking to them. The feeling is troublesome, but at the same time it has become such a normal instance in my life that I wonder exactly what I might be doing wrong. Then there is the friendship in which there IS a barrier that is causing the lack of communication...could it be pride? Are we each so prideful that we won't at least write the other to let them know we don't want to speak to them? Or is it an unspoken agreement that we are no longer friends? There are so many answers I need...but I'm too fearful to even think of asking the questions. Geez.

Wow. Never in my life did I honestly think I would have a blog. Go figure, huh? Well, I'm going to keep this one short (not that anyone is going to read this anyway)-but I will be posting random things on here in the future-artworks, thoughts, and so forth.
